Effective October 4, 2026. This notice explains how the SKUExact beta handles your images and technical data.

Images and reports

Uploads are processed in memory or temporary storage and removed when the request finishes, including failed requests. Images, original filenames, extracted text and detailed report evidence are not saved in the application database. Reports remain in your browser until you clear them or leave; a downloaded JSON report is your own copy.

Vision processing

The interface tells you whether vision processing is enabled. When enabled, submitting a comparison requires consent to send re-encoded images to OpenAI. Embedded image metadata is removed. We request that responses are not stored, but provider monitoring and retention rules may still apply. See OpenAI data controls. SKUExact does not train models on uploads.

Minimal operational records

We retain analysis identifiers, timestamps, status, aggregate score, duration, error categories, model token usage and estimated API costs for 30 days, with an hourly cleanup window. Quotas use a daily salted hash of your network address, retained through the following UTC day, with an hourly cleanup window. The application does not save your raw IP address. Hosting infrastructure may process connection information to operate and protect the service. We use no advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts.

Your choices

Upload only images you are authorized to process. Avoid unnecessary personal information. Clear images to remove browser previews, and delete any reports you downloaded when no longer needed. While this beta has no accounts or stored image library, you may raise privacy questions with the operator who provided your beta access.
